Chocolate for your Valentine

Well if you’re planning on making something
sweet for your special someone or yourself
for Valentine’s Day, give this Healthy recipe
a try.

No refined sugar, no trans fats, only
chocolate-y goodness!
(Healthy not-Nutella recipe)
Servings: 40

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups hazelnuts
1 1/2 cups coconut milk beverage
(or 3/4 cup canned coconut milk + 3/4
cup water)
3 tbsp raw honey
1/8 tsp sea salt
90g (3 oz) dark chocolate
Directions

1. Toast hazelnuts in the oven at 175 C (350F)
for 15 minutes

2. Cut up chocolate into small pieces and place
in an oven-safe dish

3. Place chocolate into oven at the same time
as the hazelnuts are roasting to melt chocolate

4. While hazelnuts are roasting, heat coconut
milk, honey and salt in a small pot for a few
minutes and whisk to combine ingredients

5. When done roasting, combine hazelnuts and
melted chocolate into blender and puree until
creamy and smooth (a few minutes)

6. Add in coconut milk mixture and continue to
puree until smooth

7. Cool in fridge for several hours, then enjoy
as a spread!
