Water is important

Just because the weather is getting cooler don't forget the importance of drinking water.
Did you know that nearly two thirds of our body weight is made up of water?
Its not surprising then that we need a constant supply of the good stuff to replenish it!
Every cell in your body and every bodily process requires water to function properly. We need water to turn the food we eat to fuel that keeps us going.
So I hear you ask how much water do we need and how do we know if we are getting enough?
Well, in most situations relying on thirst is a great place to start. However, it is important to remember that depending on your circumstances your water and fluids levels will vary.
We need to remember...
Our water needs increase the more you exercise. Make sure you drink at least 500 mls of water for every hour you exercise.
If you are exercising outside in the heat or in humid conditions you will need more than the 500mls, but if its cold you still need the fluid intake.
It is suggested we drink 8 glasses of water that's (2 Litres) and its a good point of reference. Although your body needs the 2 litres a day it doesn't all have to come from water. there are so many other liquids and foods that already contribute to our daily fluid needs. Like Juice, milk, tea and coffee are nearly all water. Tomatoes, watermelon, cucumber and broccoli ore over 90% water. Oranges, apples and grapes are over 80 % water
Be proactive ad stay well hydrated not only your insides but your outsides (skin eyes etc) will reap the benefits too.
