Changing how you eat

We often get people asking how do they start eating in a healthier way, on asking them what they do they
often say things like I eat healthy but but do need that cookie with morning tea Or that the enjoy eating a bowl of ice-cream on the couch after dinner.

Whilst treats are important and everything in moderation is OK, if you are trying to lose the extra kilos, some changes have to occur. Weight loss is about ensuring you expend more energy than you consume. Remember, each Tim Tam you eat requires thirty-minutes of walking to burn it off.

We all need to Make Small Changes Day-by-day for Healthier Eating

Eating more healthily is about awareness and making positive changes day by day. Start with small “achievable" goals rather than overhauling your entire diet. It is much easier to set a goal to change your morning cookie for an apple than to completely overhaul eating habits and risk the sense of guilt you may feel if you have not been able to follow through. Remember, it takes about a month for any new change or goal to become a new habit.
